There are times in life where people will seek counseling because they feel disconnected in their relationships, are struggling with difficult situations and emotions, or long to live a life that feels meaningful, satisfying and authentic. Counseling can help you navigate through this transformative time in your life.

With a degree in Mental Health counseling from Seton Hall University, I am prepared to help you navigate through this transformation. It would be my honor to work with you on this path towards health and healing.

My therapeutic approach is client-centered and humanistic focusing on offering my clients unconditional positive regard, compassion, and a good sense of humor when appropriate.  I offer an eclectic approach of modalities that will best fit the needs of the client. Some of the therapeutic modalities used include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Neurofeedback using the Neuroptimal Advanced Brain Training System, Narrative therapy, Solution-focused therapy, Existential and Adlerian approaches as well as Mindfulness and coping skills training for stress management and other struggles. I also have a Masters in Educational Theatre from NYU, and utilize Creative Arts Therapeutic modalities as well.

I have 30 years combined experience in education and counseling with adolescents and adults dealing with many mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, school and work challenges, life or identity transition issues, struggles with family and other relationships, as well as barriers to social satisfaction. I have worked for many years as a counselor for high school youth and their parents with an additional focus working with the LGBTQ+ population. I work in private practice with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families.
